Polypropylene (Poly) 100%
petrochemical film that won’t shrink or discolor.
Strong, more stretch than PVC.
Poly vinyl Chloride (PVC)–100% petrochemical
film that won’t shrink or discolor; releases
quietly. Minimal stretch.
Mil–Unit of measure used to describe
tape thickness (which equals adhesive plus
film), equal to 1/1000. The higher the mil,
the stronger the tape.
Tensile Strength–Pulling force per
inch width that is required to break the tape,
as determined by an industry test.
